Tracy Monk is the founder of Families for School Seismic Safety (www.fsssbc.org) in Vancouver, BC. Yumei Wang is the Director of the Geohazards Program at Oregon’s Department of Geology and Mineral Industries. Both have worked selflessly to promote safety efforts on behalf of children in unsafe facilities. Hear these engaging and energetic speakers describe how they have pushed for seismic safety in their respective regions.
